Strategic Planning
We conducted stakeholder meetings and design-think workshops to assess UMD’s strengths, identify gaps, and align its resources with government objectives. Then, we created a roadmap for UMD’s government engagements, prioritizing efforts based on community needs and readiness.
Government Partnership Support
We managed government intake processes, including outreach and assessment of the readiness of the government to perform. Provided hands-on support to navigate complex political landscapes and establish agreements with multiple jurisdictions. Finally, we helped position UMD as a trusted partner by aligning its mission with government priorities, such as addressing health disparities and financial burdens.
Working closely with the incredible UMD team, Immortal Strategies’ efforts helped effectively scale its public-private partnerships without overburdening its staff. The work resulted in landmark partnerships with dozens of key jurisdictions around the country. These included places like Vermont ($1 million to eliminate $100 million in debt), Rhode Island ($1 million to eliminate $100 million in medical debt) and various counties in Michigan ($4.5 million to eliminate $450 million in medical debt).
As a consequence of the UMD's work, these efforts resulted in billions of dollars in medical debt being eliminated, positively impacting thousands of families nationwide.
